|THE ZEITGEIST SUMMER EXHIBITION 2015|
"..a fantastic exhibition Zeitgeist Arts Projects are positively shaping the art world into something a) more accessible; b) more realistic; and yet c) invariably vibrant. This is the right kind of innovation and boy, is it refreshing." - Rachel Guthrie, Independent arts writer

ONE DAY EXHIBITION AND NETWORKING EVENT, SATURDAY 4 JULY, 5-8.30pm
£10 entry fee applies (and small booking fee)
Deadline to pay entry fee: 17 June
Each Zeitgeist Summer Exhibition is created specifically as an opportunity for our artist membership body
. ZAP members form the backbone of the organisation and they are at the core of everything we do. Through the Summer Exhibition we aim to assist our members in the following ways:
- To raise the profile of ZAP members through associated press and social media
- To function as a network hub where ZAP members can connect and expand their professional contacts
- To have the opportunity to view ZAP members' work in our curatorial role
- To offer ZAP members an annual exhibition to work toward and where they feel confident and proud to exhibit their art
The Zeitgeist Summer Exhibition is our annual members exhibtion and has been built this year around the ethos of every artist taking part in person, as we are creating not only an opportunity to exhibit work but also an opportunity to meet and network with other artists and our mailing list contacts etc. in the evening event. Therefore, we will not be accepting postal entries.
: Affordable works under £200 in any medium. You can bring 2/3 works if you wish and 1 will be selected, depending on the amount of artists taking part and the sizes of the works, it may be possible to display two works. Please be aware that this is an instant one-day show, so framed works or works on paper that can be put up easily are ideal.
Artists will come together on the 4 July
at Bond House Gallery
to hang their work, with curatorial help from Annabel, Rosalind and ZAP project assistant Lex Thomas. The exhibition will open that same evening to the public, press, collectors, etc. from 5-8.30pm
. We will send out an exhibition invitation to you and our mailing list by the 19 June so that you can invite all your contacts, friends and family closer to the time.
We welcome everyone's contributions, so artworks by all 2015 member artists (who book) will be included. The Summer show is a great way to work together with fellow ZAP members.
You do not need to know what you will exhibit by the 17 June, only that you want to take part by booking and so we can start promoting the show.
ZAP has two plinths that can be borrowed. We do not have any equipment to show video or sound pieces.
Please get in touch
if you have any questions. We are looking forward to seeing your works and an afternoon of discussion and your exhibition.
